5. Christmas Tree Delivery & Collection

Christmas Trees will be delivered within the time period requested. Where possible, we will try to accommodate specific times/dates but this is not a guarantee. If you require assistance to set up the tree you must specify this when purchasing the tree, otherwise the driver may not have time to offer assistance.

If no-one is home, the tree will be left on the door step/somewhere suitable within your boundary. A card will be posted through the door to inform you.

Wilde Gardens will replace a tree if it is deemed unacceptable however the customer must take every possible step to best care for their tree:

  • Leave your tree outside for as long as possible (ideally only bring it in when you are ready to decorate).
  • Remove the netting with scissors. Hold the tree upright and bang the tree on the ground to discard needles that have been disturbed during transportation.
  • Just like cut flowers, your tree needs to be in water - fill up the stand with water after you have secured your tree into position and remember to top up the water regularly.
  • Try to keep the tree as cool as possible i.e. not placed directly in front of a radiator, turn off the central heating when the house is empty.

Collection periods in the New Year are as follows:

  • Monday 2nd – Saturday 7th January
  • Monday 9th – Saturday 13th January

Trees must be left outside ready for collection unless assistance is requested at the time of booking.

If, however, you require assistance on delivery or collection you must specfy this when purchasing the tree.

If you do not accept these terms and conditions in full, you do not have permission to access the contents of the website and therefore should cease using the website immediately.
